How to Use Satin Dye Kit

If the shoe uppers are soft, pack then with tissue paper to keep them in shape.

Start dying on the seams and the area next to the shoe sole by using the brush (supplied in kit). Then soak the applicator sponge (included in kit) and spread the TRG Satin Dye (supplied in kit) evenly over the shoe.

Repeat with additional coats if needed to achieve a deeper colours. Allow to dry for 24 hours before wearing when the colour will become water resistant.

A family run company founded in 1940 Manresa, Barcelona by Joaquim Tarrago Bescos. Now being run by the grandchild of Joaquim, and rebranded as TRG “the One”.

The product was designed with the wedding trade in mind, particularly wedding shoes.

“We were repeatedly asked to produce a Satin Dye..." says Joaquim Tarrago, the company owner. 

It took six months of research and several attempts but eventually they found the winning formula. Isaac Jackman from C & D Shoes in Dublin, who was the chief tester, finally gave the product his seal of approval, “We work on top designer brands like Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin so the satin dye had to be spot on” said Isaac “The product now gives a strong colour, preserves the satin finish, is water resistant in 24 hours and is easy to apply”
